Overview

Located in the bustling heart of Bandar Utama, The Port offers a vibrant dining experience that merges local Malaysian flavors with international street food flair. Nestled on Lebuh Bandar Utama, this restaurant stands out as a go-to spot for those seeking variety and a lively atmosphere. Whether you're craving traditional dishes or inventive twists, The Port delivers with a diverse menu that reflects the rich culinary landscape of Petaling Jaya.

The Port’s main dishes excel in both taste and presentation. The famed Bawal Power showcases fresh, flavorful fish cooked to perfection, while the Takoyaki brings a satisfying bite of Japanese street food culture. For hearty appetites, the Lamb Chop and Tempura Fish & Chips provide a comforting yet elevated meal—crispy, savory, and balanced with tender meat or fresh seafood. Unique local delights like Nasi Lemak Viral and Satay Beef offer authentic tastes that honor Malaysian culinary traditions, with the much-lauded nasi lemak requiring an early visit to secure a portion due to its popularity.

The Port’s atmosphere blends casual dining with social vibrancy. The space resembles a modern food court, bustling yet intimate, featuring large screens for football matches—making it a perfect spot for groups or families looking for a lively night out. This ambient noise and energy do not detract from the overall experience but rather enhance the relaxed, communal feel prized by many visitors.

The target audience here ranges from young professionals and families to food adventurers eager to sample a variety of dishes in one go. Those who appreciate finger food and sharing plates will find the Chicken Tower, Goreng Pisang Cheese, and Cikmak Chicken Skin especially rewarding. Complementing the savory options are fresh juices like watermelon and apple, alongside comforting beverages such as Teh O Lemon, rounding out a well-balanced meal.

Customer feedback highlights The Port’s strengths in flavor and texture, particularly noting the tender patty and crispy bacon in their beef bacon burger, as well as the fresh-made desserts known for their appealing presentation and customizable sweetness. The desserts contribute to an experience that is both indulgent and thoughtfully crafted, with attentive staff ensuring orders are prepared fresh.

While the space channels a casual, food court vibe that some might find bustling, it suits the social and fast-paced nature of the venue. The slightly limited number of stalls is offset by the quality and uniqueness of the offerings, creating a focused yet diverse menu that satisfies a spectrum of cravings. For anyone looking to explore contemporary Malaysian fusion food in a dynamic setting, The Port is a destination worth visiting.

beef bacon burger was really good. patty was tasty and tender, while bacon and other fried elements added texture and crunch. folk here clearly understand assignment. messy makes for good eating, which must still be feasible hands-only and on the hoof. so top marks on both form and function. only quibble relates on cheese within and fries with. or rather lack thereof. better with obviously, at least as optional extra.

Main purpose dinner here because of Nasi Lemak Seafood by Kak O.G..... if you come early, need to queue, and you would get the food. If you are late, then bye-bye. She's so famous! Another thing you should try is Nasi Goreng Kerang with keropok lekor. OMG! Trust me... it's delicious! The stall just infront of nasi lemak. Recommended appetizers, Martabak, as usual. How about beverage? I just simply ordered Green Apple Juice, and it turned out that it is awesome! Thumb up to the barista! The Port starts open at 6.30 pm and closes at 11.30 pm. When it comes to nasi lemak, first come, first serve.

The Port food court is a unique place because most of the stalls are operated in a lorry container. I offer a lively atmosphere with a great selection of dishes. The Tauhu Begedil with spicy sambal is a standout. Perfect for casual dining with friends or family. Highly recommended!
